Steeple School: Our Classes

PLAYGROUP - 2.9 years by September 1st

Helps children learn to become a member of the community away from home and focus on social and emotional development.

NURSERY - 3 years by September 1st

Helps children develop language skills and coordination with a focus on self-independence. Offers the opportunity to form friendships, socially and emotionally. Explore the “Love of Learning”.

PRE-K - 4 years by September 1st

Helps children develop the knowledge and skill involved with all concept areas of learning: language, pre reading, math, science, creative arts, as well as social and emotional development. A creative curriculum for kindergarten transition.

EARLY MORNING (EM) & EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM (ECP)

Our Early Morning and Extended Care Program offer a language/literacy experience for children. With a mixed age group of 3, 4, 5 year old children, they are involved with many different story books (recipients of the Caldacott Medal Award) related activities.

The Early Morning program opens its’ doors from 7:45 till 8:45 a.m. everyday.

Children are then escorted to their regular class at 8:45.

The ECP opens its’ doors at 11:45 till 4:00 p.m. every day except Thurs.

Parents can have their child(ren) experience either program by calling the school office up to 2 weeks in advance or reserving your time for the school year.
